Las Colinas Golf Course

Since its inception, Las Colinas Golf Course here in southern Spain has won award after award, year after year.

It's no surprise that the European tour qualifying stages are held here.

This is by far our favorite golf course to play on a rare day off !, and is not just a game of golf but an event.

From the minute you arrive at Las Colinas Golf Course you come over the hill from the main entrance and are greeted with views over the course, and you can tell its going to be special.

To check in for your tee time you enter the new pro shop complete with the latest clubs available from Taylormade, as well as Clothing, footwear, and apparel from all the leading brands.

If you have reserved a buggy to play the Las Colinas Golf Course, which is advisable as its a long and hilly course, you are in for a real treat.

Outside the kart, Marshall will show you to your buggy, where he will explain how the onboard GPS works. Each golf kart has a screen giving you a hole by hole video flyover tour, as well as an inbuilt scorecard and distance to the pin when you are at your ball.

They also come complete with complimentary tees and bottled water !.

Before teeing off you are spoilt for choice with the practice facilities on offer here at Las Colinas Golf Course.

To loosen up you can call to the driving range where there are complimentary pyramids of Taylormade golf balls for you to use, There is the perfectly manicured putting green for you to get a feel for the speed of the greens, and then there is the newly opened short game area.

This was designed and built in collaboration with world superstar Miguel Jimenez, and is fantastic.

When you are all loosened up and ready its time for the fun to begin on the 1st hole at Las Colinas Golf Course.

All the holes here at Las Colinas Golf Course demand your full concentration and its a course that rewards the thinking golfer as many of the holes are tough and placement on the fairways is key to scoring well.

As you make your way around the course there are some spectacular homes that have been constructed with amazing views of the golf course.

Hole after hole the course continues to excite you with large lakes, cliff top tee shots and staggering views across the whole resort and out to the Mediterranean ocean.

One of the things we really like about Las Colinas Golf Course is the service you receive from the minute you arrive to the course marshall who prevents slow play allowing you to keep the rhythm and momentum of your game going, to the buggy bar keeping you refreshed throughout the day.

It is more than just a game of golf here at Las Colinas Golf Course, it's a 5-star golfing experience which is not available to this level from any other golf course we have played in the area.
