Las Colinas Golf Resort Spain recently had some amazing news, The resort who has been the winner in 2015 and 2016 of the best golf course in Spain, has now improved its facilities even further.

Las Colinas Golf Resort has teamed up with one of golf's all time greats Miguel Angel Jimenez to create a stunning short game practice facility on this exclusive resort.

When asked as to why he was happy to work with Las Colinas Golf Resort and put his name to the project he said.

" Las Colinas Golf & Country Club is consolidating very quickly as one of the best new golf developments in Europe, with many prestigious awards already in its possession and selected by the European Tour as one of the locations of its Classification School " said Jiménez. " So I feel very honored by the fact that Las Colinas Golf & Country Club has asked me to design their short play area and happy that the new facilities carry my name."

" The works are already underway and I am looking forward to seeing their progress in the coming months, in order to inaugurate the new facility in the autumn, " Jiménez added. " I hope that players of all levels enjoy this new practice area."

Designed by renowned architect Cabell B. Robinson and managed by Troon Golf , the course runs through a valley between hills and integrates naturally into the landscape, offering a truly captivating and unforgettable experience for golfers of all levels.

In addition to having been awarded as Best Golf Course in Spain for the second consecutive year in the 2016 World Golf Awards , Las Colinas Golf & Country Club was also chosen as the Leading VillasResort of Spain in the 2015 and 2016 World Travel Awards.

At the end of this year, he will again welcome some of the future stars of the world of golf, as he will host the European Classification School in its second stage (PQ2) for the seventh consecutive year.
